Spam spam spam

So I'm trying to sell a few things on Kijiji,(For my non-Canadian readers that's a local version of Ebay), and Facebook Marketplace. Namely, anything I find and have no use for. (Need a digital camera or some coffee tables? I've got what you're looking for!) Anyway, in a matter of seven minutes I received three offers from South Africa via Facebook. They offered me double what I was asking if I would send an invoice via Paypal, they would then wire me the money.

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? I wish I had enough time in my day to falsely claim I would send thousands of dollars to people. I get it. There are some people who fall for this crap and end up having their identities stolen and their cats become robots who start stealing other information for them, but really? Am I going to send you any information for a $50 camera?

Then there are those people whom when I arrange a delivery truck to send you the item you claimed you wanted, you can't be bothered to just say, "You know what? I thought I wanted them but now I don't. You can go ahead and sell them to someone else." No. These are people who apparently have NO time in their day to give you the courtesy of letting you know they're not interested.

It's just one of those things that I sit back and ponder. Here I am, trying to get extra minutes in the day to do what I have to do, and there are people that must be so rich (otherwise they would have a real job) that they can sit online and lure people into things that could potentially ruin their financial lives. I don't even have that much to do and I'm busy, so how can these people have the time to do this? I think they should turn their lives around and become time-management coaches.

"Too busy to get your everyday tasks done? Become a jerk like me! Make promises you can't keep! Stalk people! Try to persuade others to send you their money! The possibilities are endless and the outcome is absolute annoyance!"

If I had a garage, I'd have a garage sale. If anyone's selling one, post it and I'll offer to buy it via Paypal with a phoney bank account.
